How a suit is made here
One sitting, two fittings, four to five weeks. Every step is done in our workshop in Worli.

01The draftYour pattern is drawn by hand on paper, from the measurements taken at your sitting. 
02The cutThe pattern is chalked onto your cloth and cut by one cutter, for this suit alone. 
03The basteThe pieces are tacked together with white thread for the first fitting. 
04The fittingYou wear the basted suit at the atelier. We mark the changes on you, then fit it a second time. 
05The finishCollar, lapels, buttonholes and edges are sewn by hand and trimmed. 
06The pressThe finished suit is pressed into shape with a heavy iron, then handed to you.
What a suit costs
Seven mills and our house cloth. Choose one to see its prices. The cut and the fittings are the same in every cloth.
Collections change each season. We bring the current bunches to your sitting.
Making only, in your own cloth: shirt ₹1,500 · trousers ₹2,500. Every other garment is priced at the atelier once the cloth is chosen.

From New Kingston to RAJASAB
RAJASAB grew out of New Kingston Fashion, the travelling tailoring house of Raj Assudani’s father, which dressed a European clientele for decades. Raj carried that way of working into the house in Worli.
